WCF are delighted to announce that member David McNeilage has been selected as the Conservative campaigner for Great Sankey North.
21-year-old David is currently in his final year of a degree in Chemistry at the University of Liverpool which he says has been a truly rewarding experience.
During his time at university, David has worked in schools across the country promoting higher education including at Great Sankey High School. Another key passion of David's is raising disability awareness. He has previously volunteered at Cotebrook day-care centre and now stewards at Disability Awareness Day held at Walton Hall Gardens each year. This is the largest event of its kind in Europe.
“It is a real honour to have been selected to stand for Great Sankey North on May 5th. I have a real passion for local issues and a genuine desire to help people and ensure their views are heard.”
Jonathan Levy, WCF Chairman, hailed the reception David has received from residents.
“David has already begun canvassing residents and has received a positive reception from many who were more than happy to talk about the local issues that matter to them.
“David brings fresh innovation and ideas. He is a terrific candidate and I look forward to working with him over the coming months.”
